MG Builders LLC ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and how we use it.
Information We Collect
When you request an estimate, book an appointment, or contact us, we collect the information you provide: name, phone number, email address, project address, and a description of the work you’re considering. If you call us, we receive your phone number. We also collect basic information about how the site is used, described under Analytics below.
How We Use It
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, schedule a consultation, and deliver the services you request. We do not sell or rent your personal information. The only sharing for advertising is the limited, scrambled information described under Advertising below.
Text Messages
When you request an estimate, we may text you at the number you give us: a confirmation that we got your request and up to two reminders if we haven’t reached you. If you call us and we miss it, we may text you back once. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text consent with third parties for their marketing.
Third-Party Services
Our website uses standard third-party services for website hosting (Vercel), storing requests (Supabase), scheduling (Google Calendar), customer relationship management (Brevo), text messages (RingCentral), map display (Google Maps), website analytics (PostHog), and advertising measurement (Meta). These providers process data on our behalf under their respective privacy policies.
Analytics
We use PostHog, a website analytics service, and our own database (Supabase) to understand how visitors use our site — for example, which pages are viewed, how long they stay on a page, how far they scroll, which links and buttons they tap, and how they found us. This helps us improve the site and respond to inquiries. We do not record what you type into forms as analytics, and we do not use this information to identify you personally.
Advertising
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To see which ads bring in estimate requests, our site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, Inc. It tells Meta which pages you visit on our site and when you send an estimate request, and it may set Meta cookies in your browser. When you send a request, our server also tells Meta about it (Meta’s Conversions API). With that we send your email, phone number, name, and town or ZIP only in scrambled (hashed) form, so Meta can match the request to an ad you saw. Meta uses this information under its own privacy policy. You can control the ads you see in your Facebook ad preferences, or ask us not to share your request with Meta by contacting us below.
Cookies
We use essential cookies required for the site to function, analytics cookies (from PostHog) that help us measure how the site is used, and advertising cookies (from Meta) that measure which of our ads lead to estimate requests, described under Advertising above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your information for as long as we need it to answer your request, do your project, and keep the business records the law requires. After that, we delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and this site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No website or service can promise perfect security.
Children
This site is meant for adults planning work on their homes. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
